What a wonderful person you met!  Nice post, m&#039;A.  The scholar you mentioned was none other than Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali by the way  :)  The story goes that he was traveling with a caravan once when it was beset by robbers, who, upon seeing that he had nothing except his books, tried to take them.  Begging with them not to take the books, the chief robber said, &quot;So all I have to do is take these books from you and you&#039;ll have lost all you knowledge?&quot;  After realizing the wisdom in that statement Al-Ghazali proceeded to start memorizing all of the texts.]]></description>
